# Degen Trading Bot

Get started with Degen Trading Bot and learn to understand its market alerts.

**Market alerts explained. You stay in control.**

Degen Trading Bot is a Telegram-based market analysis and alerts service. It helps you notice market conditions, understand a directional observation, and follow what happened afterward.

This guide covers the **alerts-only edition**. The bot provides information; it does not place, manage, or close trades for you. You do not need to install Python, operate a server, or supply exchange trading credentials to read alerts.

### What an alert means

An alert may describe an early condition, a move already underway, or a follow-up outcome. Check its timestamp, market, and wording. A notification sent after a move began is not evidence that the bot predicted the entire move beforehand.

A **LONG** label describes an upward scenario. A **SHORT** label describes a downward scenario. Neither confirms an order. A target or stop printed in Telegram is information, not protection placed on an exchange.

### What the service does not promise

Degen does not guarantee a price move, a daily number of alerts, an execution price, or a profit. A confidence score is not automatically a calibrated probability.

Do not provide wallet recovery phrases, passwords, login codes, or withdrawal permissions to use an alerts service. Read [Security and privacy](/help-and-account/security-and-privacy.md) before sharing information with anyone claiming to be support.

The older Ninja Bot material is preserved separately as a legacy archive. It describes a different execution product and is not the setup guide for this edition.
