# A simple daily routine

Use the bot as a monitoring aid without feeling that every notification needs a response.

A useful routine is **check, understand, and review**. It is not “act on everything.”

### At the beginning of a session

Open the verified bot and check for service or access notices. Look at a recent message's timestamp so you know whether you are reading current information or catching up on old notifications.

Choose the instruments and streams you want to understand. Where the bot offers preferences, use only the controls shown in your release and check their confirmation. A small, understandable view is more useful than a stream of messages you cannot follow.

### When an alert arrives

Check the symbol, venue, direction, and time. Read the reason and any expiry or invalidation. Compare the original observation with the market now.

Decide whether to observe it, set it aside, or investigate further independently. Skipping an unclear, stale, or unfamiliar scenario is a valid decision. The bot does not require a response to every signal.

### After an outcome

Compare the update with the original message. Note what the stated rule counted—not just whether price moved favourably at some point.

A small personal observation log can help:

This is a personal note template, not a built-in export feature. It does not require a real-money trade.

### At the end of a session

Use `/performance` for the available record. Look at the period, sample size, losses, expiries, and unresolved observations, not only the success percentage.

Mute notifications when you need a break. Reading fewer messages carefully is preferable to feeling pressure to react faster. Notification settings and membership billing are separate; see **Billing and cancellation** when managing a subscription.

### A useful first week

Learn the interface, follow a few observations to their outcomes, and identify the terms or settings you still do not understand. Success is being able to explain what the bot is reporting—not a target number of trades or a promised profit.
