# Commands and menus

Use the current Telegram controls without relying on commands from an older bot version.

A slash command is a message beginning with `/`. Buttons below a message are shortcuts offered by the bot. Telegram's command menu lists the commands configured for that bot and account context.

### Core reference

Type commands in the official bot conversation, not an unrelated group. Unless the bot itself requests arguments, begin with `/performance` on its own.

### Historical controls: use only when currently offered

Older Ninja Bot documentation includes `/menu`, `/analyze`, and `/chatid`, plus **Price**, **Analyze**, **Multi-TF**, **Symbol**, **Alerts**, and **Settings** buttons. These are useful references for recognising familiar labels, but they are not a verified inventory of the current release.

Where they appear, **Price** normally concerns a quote; **Analyze** concerns market analysis; **Symbol** concerns the selected instrument; and **Multi-TF** concerns multiple timeframes. Read the bot's explanation before assuming what a setting changes.

A menu item called **Multi-TF** is not automatically the **Consensus v4** alert stream. Similar wording does not prove the same method or outcome rules.

### Controls not included in current onboarding

Do not follow archived `/link`, `/balance`, **Trade**, **Positions**, **Grid**, or **Auto-Trade** instructions as part of this alerts-only guide. Those pages describe the earlier execution product.

No pause, export, portfolio, stock-alert, or custom-threshold command is promised here unless the live bot explicitly provides it.

### A command or button does nothing

Check that you opened the correct bot and have access. Use the newest menu message, because an old button may no longer represent the current conversation state. Check connectivity and avoid repeatedly sending the same command.

For an unknown command, use the commands and buttons actually listed by the bot. For a persistent failure, record the command or button label, timestamp, and visible error for support.
