# Membership and access

Understand the difference between membership, community access, and the bot conversation.

There can be several parts to joining a service: a purchase account, a private bot conversation, and a group or channel. Access to one does not necessarily prove access to all of them.

### Before purchasing

Read the actual offer for its price, currency, billing period, included features, trial conditions, and cancellation terms. This guide does not promise a free tier, a particular monthly price, access to every market, or a fixed number of alerts.

Whop is the membership channel discussed for Degen. Its live Degen product URL and exact activation workflow still need verification; use your official purchase instructions rather than a link in an unsolicited message.

### After purchasing through Whop

Open the membership in the account used for the purchase. Follow the product's Telegram access steps. Where a Telegram connection or invitation is provided, confirm you are signed in to the account that should receive access.

Then open the bot and use the current welcome or access control to check your status. Do not send a payment receipt to a public group to request activation.

### Access is still locked

Check that the payment completed, the membership is active, and you are using the correct purchase and Telegram accounts. Open the original access instructions again rather than reusing an expired invitation.

For support, provide the membership or order reference privately, your Telegram username when needed, the exact error, and the time it happened. Do not provide payment-card details, login codes, passwords, or exchange credentials.

### Changing accounts

Do not assume that changing a Telegram username, phone number, or account transfers membership. A username change and switching to another Telegram account are different actions. Use the supported membership-transfer process or request an account check before buying again.

### What membership pays for

A subscription purchases the service described in the offer. It does not guarantee successful alerts, uninterrupted delivery, or investment returns. A quiet market can produce fewer observations; a membership is not a promise that you must receive a trade opportunity every day.
