# Fast Move

Interpret a fast-move observation by checking what happened before and after the message.

**Fast Move** is a reported alert stream; **v3.2** is a previously reported version label. Use the version in the actual message or performance report when reviewing results.

The name suggests a focus on rapid market movement, but it does not establish the exact detection threshold, forecasting horizon, or scoring rule. Those must be confirmed for the deployed method.

### The important distinction: early or already moving?

An early-condition message describes evidence observed before its defined future event. A detection or confirmation message describes movement already becoming visible. Both can provide information, but they are not the same claim.

Look for the event time, send time, reference price, and wording. If the market already moved before delivery, do not read the full move as something the alert predicted in advance.

### How to use the information

Check whether the move is still underway, whether the alert has expired, and how the current price compares with any reference levels. Read the explanation rather than assuming that rapid movement must continue.

A message can help explain that something changed without providing a fresh opportunity to act. Missing the beginning of a move does not require chasing the rest of it.

### What could make interpretation difficult?

A delayed notification, a different exchange quote, or missing timestamps can make a fast-moving observation hard to reproduce. A screenshot without the original time and context is insufficient for reviewing the method.

Do not assume this stream is always faster, more accurate, or earlier than the others. That would require a matched comparison, not a product name.

### Reading performance

Use the Fast Move version's own evaluation period, eligible alert count, resolution rule, and baseline. Do not combine a corrected scoring method with an older headline success rate.
